Yiyang Zhonghai Shipyard Co., Ltd. is a state-owned company, it was founded when the original Yiyang Sh-ipyard Factory changed its company form in Dec 16th, 2005. In Oct., 2006, it became the son-company of Y-iyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co., Ltd wh-ich is a subsidiary company of China Haohua Chemi-cal Group of Government. It has over 500 employees, among them there are 18 senior engineers, over 80 technical professionals with Middle Class Certificate. It has over 50 years of history of making Shipyards and it can design and make all kinds of Shipya-rds for sea or lakes. It was approved to be a chief manufacturer in 1958 by China Machinery Commission, first it was a fixed Suction Dredger manufacturer for the National No. 6 Machine-ry, later it became an important Shipyard manufacturer for the National Transportation Depar-tment.

It locates at the South of Zijiang River in Yiyang which is very close to Capital City of Changsha, and connected to main industrial city-Yueyang by water. Because Yiyang lies at the confluence of Shi-Chang Railway and Luo-Zhan Railway, it′s really convenient to use railway transportation. The distance between Yiyang and Changsha is only 69km, it will cost 50 minu-tes to reach destination by Chang-Yi Freeway. Yiyang waterway channel′s main stream is Zish-ui River, No. 2 of 4 major river systems in Hunan, its water junction is Dongting Lake. The le-ngth of whole trip from company dock through Dongting Lake and Yangtze River to Chenglinji is 165km, the lowest navigable depth of water is above 3.6m, the effective navigation width is above 450m, conditions of the water area are well-flavored. Yiyang city is 90km away from Cha-ngsha Huanghua international airport, you can reach every major cities in China by flight. Besides, company has a special dock area which is 540m long, 400m wide and lowest depth of water is 8m. Therefore, the shipment manufacturing geographical environment of company is really good.
